Breece Hall

[Best Rookie 2023 Football Cards]

The Jets backfield had quite the competition going into the season. Last year, Michael Carter showed strong promise in his rookie year – which is why it was surprising that the Jets drafted Hall. What’s even more puzzling is when they traded for Jaguars running back James Robinson at the beginning of the season as well. So now, the Jets had 3 starting-caliber running backs going into this year.

Breece Hall started to shine in week 4 as his touches jumped from 7 to 17, rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown. From there his carries improved to 18 and 20 along with increases in yardage and touchdowns in each game. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending injury after those games, but he appears to be the guy for the Jets going forward.
