Jahmyr Gibbs Football Rookie Cards

After the recent Monday Night Football explosion from Gibbs it’s hard to not double down on Jahmyr Gibbs rookie cards! Gibbs had a career night against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. He ran for 152 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries and added another 37 receiving yards on five catches. He was drafted by the Lions in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Gibbs has been a strong buy with football card collectors most of this NFL season. The Lion’s first round draft pick has been slightly injured for some of the season. And accordingly, this has led sports card investors to tread lightly most of the early NFL season.

Another sports card strong predictive investment factor to look at here is Gibbs’ team’s chances for winning an NFL championship. The Detroit Lions currently rank eighth overall to win the 2023 Super Bowl with a +1400 odds. Oddsmakers clearly believe the Lions are a top contender for an NFL championship.

By combining Gibbs’ strong chances to get into the NFL playoffs (and the potential to win a championship) with his top rank to win the 2023 NFL Rookie of the Year award we see strong indicators that Jahmyr Gibbs sports card values will continue to rise over the next couple months barring any injury.

Puka Nacua

Sports card collectors love to uncover hidden rookie gems! Puka Nacua fits this mold and collector’s have set sights on his rookie cards since he broke out in week one of the NFL season. The Los Angeles Rams’ 2023 fifth round draft pick delivered 10 catches for 163 yards and a touchdown. Now that’s quite an introduction to the NFL for a mostly unknown draft pick!

Nacua had a strong college football career at Brigham Young University (BYU). In his senior year, he caught 103 passes for 2,336 yards and 26 touchdowns, setting single-season state records in all three categories. Nacua was named the offensive MVP of the 2019 Polynesian Bowl, where he had six catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. Puka is no stranger to winning honors and awards.

In Nacua’s rookie season with the Rams, he has caught 61 passes for 795 yards and two touchdowns with an average of 13.0 yards per catch. Nacua is on pace for a 1000 yard season; a true benchmark for wide receivers. Puka has been a force to contend with for NFL defenses!

Nacua, rightly so, is heavily favored at +300 with a current number 2 rank overall to win the 2023 NFL Rookie of the Year via oddsmakers. And with a healthy Matthew Stafford slinging him the ball we expect Nacua to continue to grow as a receiver. All these factors add up to Puka Nacua offering strong investment indicators to be a robust buy with football card collectors in 2023 and beyond.

Will Levis

Football card collectors are likely scrambling this week to find Will Levis rookie cards! Levis turned in arguably the best performance of the season by any Titan quarterback in this past Sunday’s win over the Falcons. In his NFL debut, Levis completed 19 of 29 pass attempts for 238 yards and four touchdowns.

Who is Will Levis?

William Donovan Levis was born on June 27, 1999, in Newton, Massachusetts, and grew up in Madison, Connecticut. Levis attended Xavier High School in Middletown, Connecticut, where he set school records as a senior for passing touchdowns with 27 and passing yards with 2,793.

Levis went on to attend Penn State from 2018 to 2020. After redshirting his first year, he spent the next two as a backup. He made his first career start against Rutgers in 2019, completing eight of 14 passes for 81 yards with one touchdown and one interception with 108 rushing yards. Overall at Penn State, he completed 61 of 102 passes for 644 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed for 473 yards and six touchdowns.

Levis transferred to the University of Kentucky in 2021. In his first start for Kentucky, he threw for 367 yards and four touchdowns. In his senior year at Kentucky, he threw for 2,827 yards and 24 touchdown passes while running for 376 yards and nine touchdowns on 107 rushes. Levis was named the starter to open the season and started all 13 games for Kentucky.

Levis was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. And until last Sunday Levis was likely an afterthought for sports card collectors. However, Levis is likely the future for the Titans at quarterback with performances like this.

Will Levis’ 2023 Panini Silver Mosaic Rookie card has spiked +$24.96 (+79.64%) in value over the past 30 days. Will Levis is a great rookie card to collect for sports card prospectors.

Happy Collecting!
